Run a Car Management Query
Use this task to search for equipment and view results in Browser or CSV format.
Steps to Run a Car Management Query
- From the main menu, select "Query" > "Car Management Query"
- Select "View" and choose "Equipment View" or leave it set to "Pool View"
- Enter at least one search criterion
- Do not enter both Equipment IDs and Pool IDs
- (Optional) Use the search icon in any lookup field to open the lookup page
- Select "CSV" or "Browser" for output format
- Select a *"Maximum Number of Results"
- Select "Search", "Count", or "Reset"
- Review the results in Browser or CSV
Use Station Lookup
Use this task to select a valid SPLC location for a query.
Steps to Use Station Lookup
- Select the search icon for a "Location" field
- Select a qualifier
- Begins With
- Contains
- Ends With
- Exact Match
- (Optional) Select a "State/Province"
- (Optional) Enter a value in "SCAC"
- Select "Search"
- Select the radio button for the correct location
- Select "Select" to return the value to the Pool/Equipment Search page
View Equipment Details from Query Results
Use this task to open the detail page for a specific equipment item.
Steps to View Equipment Details
- Run a Car Management Query in "Equipment View"
- In the results table, select the "Equipment ID" link
- Review the Display Unit Search Results page
- Select "Cancel" to return to the results list
