Sign the PTC Interchange Agreement
Complete the required agreement so your company is eligible to use PTC MAIN CDX.
Steps to sign the PTC Interchange Agreement
- Contact Melody Sheahan at the Association of American Railroads to request the PTC Interchange Agreement.
- Sign the agreement for your company.
- Confirm internally whether your company has already completed this step if other colleagues use PTC MAIN CDX.
- Railinc’s Product Support Team maintains records from the AAR if you have questions.
Request Access to PTC MAIN CDX and FindUs.Rail
Submit a permission request so your user account can access the required applications.
Steps to request access
- Open Railinc’s Launchpad and go to “My Profile”.
- Select “View/Request Permissions”.
- Scroll to PTC MAIN CDX and select “Request”.
- Search for your Name or Mark in the role “MAIN CDX USER”.
- Select “Next”.
- Confirm the application and role and click “Continue”.
- If you are the first user under a Mark, also request permission for FindUs.Rail using the same steps.
Add or Review a FindUs.Rail Contact
Ensure your company has a registered FindUs.Rail contact required for PTC MAIN CDX access.
Steps to add or review a contact
- Open Railinc’s Launchpad.
- Under “My Applications”, open FindUs.Rail after access is granted.
- Check for a registered contact in the category “PTC Monitoring & Analysis of Integrated Network”.
- If the contact is missing or incorrect, add or update the contact information in this category.
Access PTC MAIN CDX
Open the PTC MAIN CDX application after permissions have been approved.
Steps to access PTC MAIN CDX
- Open Railinc’s Launchpad.
- Go to “My Applications”.
- Select PTC MAIN CDX to launch the application.
