Using Map Trip View
Trip View displays the entire trip path for a single piece of equipment, including origin, destination, posted events, and predicted completion segments.
Steps to View a Trip on the Map
- Open an insight and select an Equipment ID to reach the Equipment Details page.
- Select the Map tab.
- Click List (if needed) and choose a specific equipment record to activate Trip View.
- Review the markers:
- Green marker = trip origin
- Red marker = destination
- Blue circular markers = posted events
- Blue teardrop marker = current event
- View solid lines for completed movement and a dashed line for predicted remaining travel.
- Zoom or pan the map to explore trip details.
- Select Clear Current Trip to return to the standard map view.
