Users with Railroad User permissions have the ability to manage disposition requests under their road mark through the Loading Authority (OT-57) application.
Closing Disposition Requests
- Select Manage Requests > Disposition Requests from the main menu.
- Select the checkbox for one or more requests in the Pending, Escalated, or Final Notice tabs.
- Click Close Request.
- In the pop-up, select a Resolution:
- Approved: Instructions have been provided and the disposition can be closed.
- Cancelled: The disposition request is no longer required.
- (Optional) Enter a comment and click Submit to close the request.
- The Home page dashboard will update to show the increased number of closed requests.
Note: If requests are not closed in time, they are automatically escalated according to the schedule in Circular OT-57. When the system closes requests automatically, additional statuses may include:
- Transferred: Equipment has been moved to another fleet.
- Time Exceeded: Closure time exceeded per Circular OT-57 (Typically 13 days from final notice in the Loading Authority UI).
- Interchanged: Equipment has been interchanged to another railroad and a new disposition created.
