When searching equipment in the Last Three Loaded STCC application, users can encounter error or exception messages if the query hits a limitation or does not meet certain criteria.
Error & Exceptions
- No Loaded STCC in 5 years
- Equipment ID must have three loaded STCCs within the last five years. If the queried equipment does not meet this criteria, the system will not generate viewable results.
- Equipment Not in Umler
- Equipment ID must be a valid Equipment ID. If the queried equipment is not registered in Railinc's Umler application, the system will not generate viewable results.
- Equipment Not a Covered Hopper
- Equipment ID must be a covered hopper car registered in Umler with a mechanical designation "LO". If the queried equipment is not a covered hopper car, the system will not generate viewable results.
- Hazmat
- Loads qualified as a hazmat will be masked and labeled as Hazmat.
- This equipment is currently loaded
- When equipment is currently loaded, four records will be generated: one record will state that the equipment is currently loaded without STCC information, and the last three STCCs will have viewable information.

- Equipment can be flagged to be masked when the equipment are on an Option B Carrier. The first loaded STCC will appear but the remaining STCCs may be masked.
- When the STCC is not an allergen, the STCC is masked with the exception message. Otherwise, the allergen STCC will be displayed.
- Invalid Search: invalid data item string...
- Equipment ID is either a invalid Equipment ID or does not have three loaded STCCs within the last five years.
- Invalid Request Arguments: requested data must be no more than 200 items
- The Equipment Search has a query limit of 200 Equipment IDs per search. If more than 200 Equipment IDs are entered in a search, the system will not generate search results.
