Users with the Car Hire Rate Neg. User permission have the ability to query CHARM data and create offers for their marks.
Searching CHARM Data
Once CHARM files are generated each month, CHARM data will be available to query for that month. Users can access CHARM files for any 30 to 90-day period.
- Sign in to Launch Pad and open Car Hire Rate Negotiation.
- From the main menu, select Queries > CHARM. The CHARM Query page is displayed.
- Select a CHARM file from the drop-down list for From CHARM File and To CHARM File fields.
- Selecting one or more Additional query filters provides additional filtering fields.
- Selecting the Exclude Default Rates checkbox shows only negotiated rates.
- Selecting the Exclude Private Cars checkbox shows only railroad-marked equipment.
- Selecting the Exclude Zero Rates checkbox excludes rates for cars that have a rate indicator of 6 or 0.
- Select at least one additional filter, then select Search. The CHARM Query Results page displays up to 1500 records that match your query criteria.
- Select Download CSV to export up to 100,000 records of the results to a .CSV file.
- To create a new offer based on the shown selection, select the desired records and select Create Offer.
