1. Who can create a new tank car application?
Only users with the Tank Car Builder or Builder Assistant role can create a new application. Builder Assistants can enter data but cannot submit applications.
2. When can drawings be added to a new application?
Drawings can be added only after the user selects a “Nature of Application” and then selects “Save as Draft”. This enables the Drawing Manager and other drawing upload options.
3. What does the “ITP Preview” option do?
Selecting “ITP Preview” sends a draft application to the ITP for a preliminary review. The application’s status becomes Ready for Preview.
4. Can builders view ITP checklists?
No. Only ITP Reviewers and AAR Reviewers can view ITP checklists. Builders cannot view them at any point in the workflow.
5. Can I have two User Roles on my Profile?
No. You can only have one role per userID. If more than one role is needed, you will need to create a separate userID for that role.
