To create an Embargo subscription, you must have the Embargo Party to Waybill role access.

Create an Embargo Dashboard Profile

Create a dashboard profile to view embargoes that match specific criteria and use it for notifications.

Steps to create an embargo profile

  1. From the main menu, select “Dashboard”.
  2. Select “Create Profile”.
  3. Enter the “Embargo Profile Name” and choose criteria for notifications.
    - Select checkboxes to exclude target types: “Commodity”, “Waybill Parties”, “Umler Equipment”, “Geography”.
  4. Optional. Select “Mark as Default Profile” to make it the profile that opens when you select “Dashboard”.
  5. Use the search icons to narrow results as needed.
    - To search for a Umler Equipment Type Code, select “Equipment Type Groups”.
  6. Select “Save”. Relevant embargoes appear on the dashboard.

Edit an Embargo Dashboard Profile

Update the criteria or settings of an existing dashboard profile.

Steps to edit an embargo profile

  1. From the main menu, select “Dashboard”.
  2. Select “Edit/Delete Profile”.
  3. Make your updates.
  4. Select “Save”.

Delete an Embargo Dashboard Profile

Remove a dashboard profile you no longer need.

Steps to delete an embargo profile

  1. From the main menu, select “Dashboard”.
  2. Select “Edit/Delete Profile”.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select “Delete”.

Cancel changes to an Embargo Dashboard Profile

Exit profile editing without saving any changes.

Steps to cancel profile changes

  1. From the main menu, select “Dashboard”.
  2. Select “Edit/Delete Profile”.
  3. Select “Cancel”.

Create an Embargo notification from the Dashboard Profile

Subscribe to notifications based on an existing embargo profile.

Steps to create a notification

  1. From the main menu, select “Dashboard”.
  2. Select the “Embargo Profile” you want to subscribe to.
  3. Select “Create Notification”.
    - Profile information pre-populates some fields.
  4. Select “Issue Subscription”.
